Configures the type of start arm to immediate or external.

instrument handle The instrument handle you obtain from the IviCounter Initialize VI or IviCounter Initialize With Options VI. The handle identifies a particular instrument session.

type (Immediate) Specifies the start arm type. The driver sets the IviCounter Start Arm Type property to this value.
Valid Values: IVICOUNTER_VAL_IMMEDIATE_ARM_TYPE - Immediate IVICOUNTER_VAL_EXTERNAL_ARM_TYPE - External Default Value: IVICOUNTER_VAL_IMMEDIATE_ARM_TYPE |

error in (no error) The error in cluster can accept error information wired from VIs previously called. Use this information to decide if any functionality should be bypassed in the event of errors from other VIs.
