ATTR_UDP_MULTICAST_TTL
Data Type: | integer |
Description: | This attribute specifies the reach of a multicast datagram. ATTR_UDP_MULTICAST_TTL represents both a maximum router hop count and a regional boundary for the datagram. For example, multicast routers at a continental boundary only forward datagrams with a TTL of at least 128. A datagram sent with an original TTL of 100 is transmitted until it has been forwarded by 100 routers or until it hits a continental boundary. Default value: 1 |
