ExpWin
Advanced Analysis Library Only
AnalysisLibErrType ExpWin (double arrayX[], ssize_t numberOFinalValueElements, double final);
Purpose
Applies an exponential window to a real signal. If y represents the output sequence, ExpWin obtains the elements of y using the following equation:yi = xieai

for i = 0, 1, 2, ..., n – 1,
where f is the final value, and n is the number of elements in arrayX.
You can use this function to analyze transients.
This function performs the window operation in place; that is, the windowed data replaces the input data.
Parameters
Input | ||
Name | Type | Description |
numberOFinalValueElements | ssize_t | Number of elements in arrayX. |
final | double | The coefficient of the last point of the window. Default Value: 0.01. |
Output | ||
Name | Type | Description |
arrayX | double [] | On input, the input signal. On output, this parameter returns the input signal with the exponential window applied. |
Return Value
Name | Type | Description |
status | AnalysisLibErrType | A value that specifies the type of error that occurred. Refer to analysis.h for definitions of these constants. |
