AnalysisLibErrType HanWin (double arrayX[], ssize_t numberOfElements);

Purpose

Applies a Hanning window to a real signal. If y represents the output sequence x, HanWin obtains the elements of y using the following equation:

yi = 0.5xi[1 - cos(w)]

for i = 0, 1, 2, ..., n – 1.

where n is the number of elements in x and .

This function performs the window operation in place; that is, the windowed data replaces the input data.

Parameters

numberOfElements ssize_t Number of elements in x.
Output

arrayX double [] On input, the input signal.

On output, this parameter returns the input signal with a Hanning window applied.

status AnalysisLibErrType A value that specifies the type of error that occurred. Refer to analysis.h for definitions of these constants.
