Numeric Slide Controls Overview
Use numeric slide controls to input or view numeric values, such as voltage values. Numeric slide controls have many different graphical representations, including knobs, meters, gauges, and dials.
Numeric slide controls include a numeric scale representing the range of values that the control can display or that you can enter into the control. Depending on the style of numeric slide, the scale can be linear or circular.
A color ramp is a gradient of colors displayed along the numeric scale of a numeric slide control. The image of the Numeric Dial Control in the following figure shows how a color ramp looks when implemented on a control.
Numeric slides can also include a digital display that operates like a numeric control; the value of the digital display is always synchronized to the value indicated by the scale.
The following figure shows of a sampling of different numeric slide styles.
