Operating Color Numeric Controls
When you set a color numeric control to any mode other than indicator mode, you can change its color value from the keyboard or with the mouse.
You select the color with the aid of a color palette that you can display next to the control. This color palette contains a set of predefined standard colors. If the desired color is not included in the predefined colors, you can select a button which displays a second dialog box where you can specify any RGB value.
To display the color palette, press the spacebar or use the mouse to click anywhere within the client area of the control.
You can navigate the color palette by selecting the desired color with the mouse or by moving among the color choices with the arrow keys.
If the control mode of a color numeric control is hot or validate, a commit event is generated when you select a new color from the color palette.
