Editing Custom Configurations
You can edit custom project configurations you previously created. You can edit the target settings, build settings, and so on for default configurations; however, you cannot edit the name, debug/release settings, and 32-bit/64-bit settings.
Complete the following steps to edit a custom configuration.
- Select Build»Configuration»Manage Configurations from the Workspace window menu to open the Manage Configurations dialog box. The default and custom configurations are listed in the Configuration List.
Note LabWindows/CVI dims the Configuration pull-down menu in the Build Options and other sub-dialog boxes accessed through the Edit Configuration dialog boxes. - Select the custom configuration you want to edit and click Edit to open the Edit Configuration dialog box.
- Change the settings in the Edit Configuration dialog box and any sub-dialog boxes as necessary.
Note LabWindows/CVI commits the changes in the sub-dialog boxes you access through the the Edit Configurations dialog box by way of the Manage Configurations dialog box, such as the Build Options dialog box, when you click the OK button in the sub-dialog box. If you click the X button to cancel out of the Edit Configurations dialog box or the Manage Configurations dialog box, any changes you made previously in sub-dialog boxes persist. - Click the Done button in the Edit Configuration dialog box to return to the Manage Configuration dialog box.
