Select Source Dialog Box

The Select Source dialog box appears when you build an installer that includes additional components that LabWindows/CVI cannot find. This dialog box lists National Instruments media and preselects the media that contains the required components. If you no longer have the preselected media, choose another listed media. The dialog box displays a warning in red text until you select media that contains the required component.

Click the OK button to continue building the distribution. If LabWindows/CVI cannot locate the media source you selected, the Distribution Not Found dialog box appears. The Distribution Not Found dialog box provides the distribution name and last known installation path for the missing installers or components. You can use this information to assist you in locating the additional installer or component. Once you locate the missing files, click the Retry button, build the installer.

If you cannot locate the additional installers or components and you select the Abort Build button in this dialog box, LabWindows/CVI cancels the build. You can click the Show Build Log button to view the build errors.

You can minimize the amount of future prompts for media by enabling the checkbox at the bottom of the dialog box. LabWindows/CVI then caches the installer(s) you selected in this dialog box as well as future installers.
