Documenting the Driver
The final step in creating an instrument driver is to document the driver. The .doc file describes the purpose of the driver, the function tree, and function panels. The file also contains a function reference list that explains the syntax of each function in the driver. The Programming Guidelines for Instrument Drivers section contains guidelines and suggestions for documenting your instrument driver.
