IviUpconverter Configure Sweep [SWP]
IviUpconverterSweep Capability Group
This VI configures the upconverter whether the RF output is a continuous wave or the frequency, power level, or gain is swept or stepped.
instrument handle The instrument handle that you obtain from the IviUpconverter Initialize VI or IviUpconverter Initialize With Options VI. The handle identifies a particular instrument session. Default Value: None |
|
sweep mode (None) Pass whether the RF output signal is a continuous wave or the frequency, power level, or gain is swept or stepped. The driver uses this value to set the IviUpconverter Sweep Mode [SWP] property. Valid Values: IVIUPCONVERTER_VAL_SWEEP_MODE_NONE - The RF output is a non-swept signal (continuous wave). IVIUPCONVERTER_VAL_SWEEP_MODE_FREQUENCY_SWEEP - Sweeps the RF output signal frequency in an analog form (non-stepped). IVIUPCONVERTER_VAL_SWEEP_MODE_POWER_SWEEP - Sweeps the RF output signal power in an analog form (non-stepped). IVIUPCONVERTER_VAL_SWEEP_MODE_GAIN_SWEEP - Sweeps the upconverter's gain in an analog form (non-stepped). IVIUPCONVERTER_VAL_SWEEP_MODE_FREQUENCY_STEP - Sweeps the RF output signal frequency in steps. IVIUPCONVERTER_VAL_SWEEP_MODE_POWER_STEP - Sweeps the RF output signal power level in steps. IVIUPCONVERTER_VAL_SWEEP_MODE_GAIN_STEP - Sweeps the upconverter's gain in steps. IVIUPCONVERTER_VAL_SWEEP_MODE_LIST - Uses two lists with frequency and power level or gain values to sweep the RF output signal. Default value: IVIUPCONVERTER_VAL_SWEEP_MODE_NONE |

error in (no error) The error in cluster can accept error information wired from VIs previously called. Use this information to decide if any functionality should be bypassed in the event of errors from other VIs. The pop-up option Explain Error (or Explain Warning) gives more information about the error displayed. |

error out The error out cluster passes error or warning information out of a VI to be used by other VIs. The pop-up option Explain Error (or Explain Warning) gives more information about the error displayed. |
